Can I apply Shieldcoat sealers over a previously painted surface?
Yes, re-coating is possible, but preparation is critical. All loose or flaking material must be completely removed to ensure the new coat achieves a durable bond. For previously coated surfaces that are in good condition, a thorough clean and sanding is required before application.
Are your concrete coatings slip-resistant?
Yes, we offer comprehensive solutions for slip resistance. Our Step Safe Heavy Duty is a pre-mixed, flexible anti-slip coating with a P5 rating. For other products like Concreshield, you can add our anti-slip wax beads during application to achieve a P4 slip rating.
How long until I can walk or drive on the coated concrete?
Drying times vary depending on the specific product and conditions. For example, Concreshield allows for foot traffic after 24 hours and vehicle traffic after 5 days , while Step Safe Heavy Duty allows for vehicle traffic after 10 days.
